Terms & Conditions

Fees for each Engagement shall be payable on the date of the performance of such Engagement or up to 14 days after. Please note that it is a condition of hire that the fee be kept confidential. 

The equipment and instruments belonging to Kitty are not available for use by any other person, except by specific permission. If you would like to use anything, this needs to be arranged beforehand. For hygiene reasons, Kitty has a strict no microphone sharing policy.

The Hirer shall ensure a safe supply of electricity and the security of the Musician and her property at the venue.

Agreements may not be modified or cancelled except by mutual consent, in writing signed by both parties.

Kitty will take breaks between sets as appropriate.  These will be a minimum of 15 minutes per every two hours of performing. 

Please be advised that the minimum size of playing area is approximately 2.5 metres (8 feet) by 2.5 metres (8 feet) and needs to be within approximately 8m of a mains socket. Please note that in the interests of safety and possible damage to equipment I do not set up in the open without adequate protection e.g. a small marquee. Or speakers can be placed inside a building, pointing out through doors and windows, so long as speaker stands will not be in the way of guests or staff moving in and out of the building. Cables can be fixed to the floor. 

I take every reasonable step to ensure my equipment and transport are in good working order. However please note that “Acts of God” are outside my jurisdiction, and there are numerous insurance companies who can provide cover for almost any eventuality.  Please consider insurance for your event. 

Deposits are non-refundable, although in the unlikely event I am unable to make the event due to illness, a full refund will be issued.  Cancellations made by the client close to the event may result in claims for all or part of the total fee.
