In May 2025, Kitty sailed from Ramsgate to Dunkirk aboard Bou Saada as part of the Association of Dunkirk Little Ships’ 85th anniversary commemorative crossing. In Dunkirk harbour, she performed on the deck of Brown Owl during the Sunset Ceremony. That same year Kitty sang aboard Brown Owl at St Katharine Docks Classic Boat Festival in London, at the personal invitation of the Association of Dunkirk Little Ships Commodore. She has sung several times for the RAF Museum London’s D-Day events at Hendon, appeared with Apollo Big Band at the 2025 Lee-on-Solent Victory Festival and the VE Day dance at Winchester Guildhall in 2026, and performed for D-Day 80th anniversary commemorations at Ramsbury in 2024 and again in 2025. In 2016 and 2017 she performed 1930s and 40s-style sets aboard Type 45 Destroyers at HM Naval Base Portsmouth for the Portsmouth Flotilla Families Day. From 2014 to 2019, Kitty returned to Holt each year during the Holt & Sheringham 1940s Weekend, performing at the Folly Tea Rooms and later at Hopper’s Yard. In 2017 Kitty appeared live on BBC Radio Berkshire's Breakfast Show, performing Vera Lynn classics to mark Vera Lynn's 100th birthday. Kitty also performs for Remembrance Sunday events across Surrey, Hampshire and Dorset.
Kitty’s wartime repertoire ranges from Vera Lynn and the Andrews Sisters to Glenn Miller, Gracie Fields, George Formby and Doris Day — familiar singalong classics alongside less frequently performed numbers that give her 1940s sets real breadth. Kitty performs in period dress with a 1940s hairstyle and make-up, using a genuine Shure 55 microphone, combining professional vocal sound with an authentic vintage aesthetic. She can sing solo with wartime-style backing tracks or appear with a full big band in true USO & ENSA tradition. Kitty performs regularly for wartime commemorative events across the South of England and beyond, from town-council VE Day celebrations to D-Day anniversary commemorations at Ramsbury, the wartime airfield from which American C-47 pilots of the 437th Troop Carrier Group flew on the night of 5 June 1944, towing gliders carrying paratroopers into Normandy. Each event is approached with the respect the occasion deserves. Kitty is also available for Remembrance Sunday services and commemorative events.
