Vintage Jazz & American Songbook Vocalist in Norfolk
Kitty Mazinsky is a vintage jazz vocalist based in Hungerford, Berkshire, who has been performing in Norfolk since 2015 and has a deep personal connection to the county. Her father was born in Costessey, near Norwich, and his family has roots across the county — among them relatives who worked in service at Hoveton Hall and are buried in the grounds of St Peter’s, the tiny thatched church on the estate. For Kitty, Norfolk has always felt like a second home.
From 2015 to 2019 Kitty was a resident wartime vocalist at the Holt & Sheringham 1940s Weekend — one of the finest 1940s revival festivals in England — performing in the gardens of the Folly Tea Rooms in Holt. She has performed for a wedding in Burgh Castle, at milestone celebrations in Sheringham and Weybourne, at Glen Lodge at Bawburgh Golf Club and at the Park Farm Leisure Hotel in Hethersett. She also performed at Jarrolds of Norwich for a series of VIP shopping evenings. Norfolk is a county where Kitty has many friends and clients, and she is always glad of a reason to return.
